Mr. Je-Beom Kim has been appointed as Korean Airs General Manager of Passenger Sales, Hong Kong Regional Office. He is responsible for the airlines passenger sales business in the region.
Mr. Kim has served in a variety of capacities with Korean Air over a period of almost 17 years. As General Manager of the Passenger
Business Division, he spearheaded the divisions growth from 1999-2006. He has also worked in other departments, including Network
and Revenue Management Team, Corporate Management Team, Hanjin Group, Regional headquarters of Korea and Regional Passenger
Sales Office in Seoul. His long service with the company and his past exposure to all its operations give him solid experience to lead
Korean Air into a new phase of operational excellence.
Mr. Kim received a bachelors degree in Yonsei University,
where he specialized in Political Science & Diplomacy and Arts.
He and his wife, Song-Hwa Kang have a son. His hobbies include golf and ba-duk (Korean chess).
