Three of
Carlson Wagonlit Travel's (CWT) senior executives are to take on new responsibilities within the company
from January 1, 2008.
Berthold
Trenkel, currently chief operating officer, Asia Pacific, has been named to the newly created position of executive vice president,
Traveler & Transaction Services. This global position was created to further drive client satisfaction while increasing operational efficiency
and consistency worldwide. Mr. Trenkel has also been named president, Asia-Pacific. Based in Singapore, he will remain on the CWT
executive team and continue reporting to Hubert Joly, president and chief executive officer.
Martin
Warner, executive vice president, Global Account Solutions, has been appointed chief operating officer, Asia Pacific. Based in
Singapore, he will report to Berthold Trenkel and continue to be a member of the CWT executive team. This appointment follows a five-year
period in which Mr. Warner and his team brought the management of CWT global accounts and the development of the company's global
sales to unprecedented, industry-leading levels. In his new role, Mr. Warner will be responsible for driving the continuous growth of CWT in
Asia Pacific, where the company has more than 3,100 employees and is expected to generate sales
volume of US$2.6 billion in 2007.
Cathy
Voss, senior vice president, Global Accounts, North America, has been named executive vice president, Global Account Solutions.
She will report to Mr. Joly and join the CWT executive team. Ms. Voss will be responsible for developing the relationships CWT has with companies around the
world. Expanding the CWT Program Optimization offering will be another one of her principal
responsibilities.
