Imar Spa located in Umm Al Quwain has created a ‘Detox Journey’ for just AED999 per person, available for the months of October and
November. The Detox Journey is a day spa treatment, limited to just 4 people per day, combining therapies such as colonic irrigation and
reflexology with educational lectures and Autogenic training, also referred to as fantasy travel using guided imagery and the power of the
imagination for relaxation.
Located just 50 minutes from Dubai (via the Emirates Road) in the heart of Umm Al Quwain, Imar Spa is a ladies’ only haven of
relaxation and wellbeing. One of the first stand-alone spa hotels in the region, Imar Spa boasts a treatment menu exceeding 80 different
treatments and therapies.
The Detox Journey commences with a specially formulated detox drink and welcome orientation of the spa complete with a complimentary
detox pack.
The welcome is followed by an educational information session ‘Introduction to Detoxification’ presented by Michelle Reynolds (Spa
Wellness Manager) and Barbara Sekora (a highly regarded Relaxation Trainer and Reflexologist from
Germany).
Following lunch, detox-style, whereby participants can sample and see first hand the types of food consumed during a
detox, a one
hour reflexology session and a colonic irrigation session (one hour).
To complete the Detox Journey, escape with some well-earned fantasy travel in the especially developed group Autogenic Training session.
Autogenic Training is a relaxation technique which focuses on breathing exercises and the power of imagination.
The Detox Journey is available every Wednesday in October and November from 9am to 6pm.
For guests who would like to extend their stay to enjoy the Imar Spa facilities overnight, add AED500 per person including breakfast.
