Denihan Hospitality Group (DHG), operator of the Affinia brand of lifestyle hotels and the luxury Benjamin hotel brand,
has joined 19 partners and senior partners who support the Cornell Center for Hospitality
Research financially.
Partners such as DHG
provide critical support of the Center's three-fold agenda of supporting research studies, distributing research findings, and discerning the
hospitality industry's future research concerns. Benjamin (Patrick) Denihan, Jr., DHG’s co-CEO, will become a member of the Center’s advisory
board.
“We have long been aware of the contributions that Cornell and the Center make to the hospitality industry,” said Denihan. “Just as our hotels
focus strongly on the needs of our guests, so the Center focuses on the needs of the industry.”
DHG operates four distinctive Affinia hotels in
New York City and one in Chicago, as well as the luxury hotel, The Benjamin. The company also manages five individual properties in NYC and
Washington, DC.
In addition to participating on the Advisory Board, partners in the Center are featured in conjunction with Center Reports and have a seat in
Center Roundtables, as well as other interactions of industry and academe.
