Best Western has
appointed Singaporean hotel veteran Raymond Howe as Regional Manager Operations – Asia.
Mr Howe
has more than twenty years of multi-property operational experience. His new role
at Best Western is to take responsibility for the operations of all Best
Western managed properties in Asia. Though his focus is on managed hotels, he will also
supervise operational matters of all other franchising properties within the region.
“Raymond’s 20 years of hotel experience is a great asset for our team, and he will play critical
role in ensuring all hotels managed by Best Western meet or exceed the chain’s high standards,”
said Best Western Vice President International Operations Asia, Glenn de Souza.
Most
recently, Mr. Howe served as a general manager of the Pulai Desaru Beach and Pulai Spring
Resort Berhad in Malaysia, also having previously served a nine-year stint as director of diving
and recreation at the Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa and director of
rooms and guest services at the Parrot Cay Resort in the Caribbean.
