Frangipani Langkawi Resort & Spa appoints Mark Suppiah as Resort Manager

The Frangipani Langkawi Resort & Spa has appointed Mr. Mark Suppiah to the position of Resort Manager.

Mr. Suppiah has extensive experience having worked in the tourism and hospitality industry in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Germany and the United Kingdom for the past 24 years. Mr. Suppiad has been employed for the past 16 years with Asian Overland Services (AOS) with his last position being Director of Operations.

His initial tasks in the resort are to prepare the hotel for its peak season occupancy and to oversee the completion of the resort extensions and refurbishment. Mr. Suppiah’s role will also include strengthening the green practices already established in the resort to reduce, reuse and recycle resources. It will also mean cementing stronger ties with the local community and the authorities to continue developing Langkawi as a UNESCO Geopark.
