Indochina's 'off-the-beaten-track' boutique hotel group, Victoria Hotels & Resorts, is offering 'Festive Season' packages for its six luxury
retreats including an off-the-beaten-track mountain resort in Sapa, two beach resorts in Phan Thiet and Hoi An in Vietnam, two colonial-style
hotels in the Mekong Delta, and an elegant spa resort at Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
The Christmas and New Year four-day, three-night package celebrates 'Sapa Festive Season' at the mountain chalet-style Victoria Sapa
Resort, a region renowned for colourful indigenous hill tribes in the picturesque north-west highlands of Vietnam.
The package includes a romantic overnight round-trip journey from Hanoi aboard the private 'Victoria Express' train plus a gala dinner with
entertainment, daily buffet breakfast, excursion to Ban Ho hill-tribe village and complimentary room upgrade upon availability.
The package is priced at US$475 per person based on double occupancy from December 23-26, and US$486 over New Year from December
30 to January 3, with a single person supplement of US$187 over both periods.
The French group's two luxury resorts in the Mekong Delta
are offering four day/three night packages at the Victoria Can Tho
Resort in the South of Vietnam, and Victoria Chau Doc Hotel, a grand hotel located deep in
the Mekong Delta, close to the Cambodian border in a region famed for the climax of Francis Ford Coppola's Apocalypse Now.
Also including gala dinners, river excursions to floating markets, daily buffet breakfast and complimentary room upgrade upon availability,
the package is priced at US$319 per person based on double occupancy from December 23-26 and US$331 from December 30-January 2 at
Victoria Can Tho Resort (single supplement US$217). The price is US$268 per person over Christmas and US$280 over New Year (single
supplement S$191) at the Victoria Chau Doc Hotel.
Christmas and New Year's Eve packages are also
available at the Victoria Angkor Resort & Spa in Siem Reap, Cambodia, just 10 minutes from the
World Heritage Angkor Wat temple complex, and the group's two beach spa resorts on the Vietnam coast.
They include round-trip airport transfers as well as a gala dinner, daily breakfast, 20-minute relaxation massage per person and
complimentary room upgrade upon availability.
At Victoria Angkor Resort & Spa, the four day/three night Christmas escape is priced at US$427 from December 23-26, and US$457 from
December 30-January 2, with a single supplement of US$273.
The price at Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort & Spa on the outskirts of the UNESCO World Heritage city of Hoi An in central Vietnam is US$355
over Christmas and US$366 over New Year, with a single supplement of US$264.
At Victoria Phan Thiet Beach Resort & Spa, at one of Vietnam's most idyllic seaside resorts 200km north of Ho Chi Minh City, the package is
priced at US$333 over Christmas and US$345 over New Year, with a single supplement of US$255.
