The annual headline AIME Business Events Forum, this year entitled New World Order, will examine major issues impacting the global and local industry – the potential
fallout from a pandemic flu virus, the increasing fear of terrorism, the economic outlook and destination crises management.
Including international tourism and business event specialists, participants in the AIME Business Events Forum will discuss how resilient the business events industry
response is to a new world environment.
“This is your chance to hear the latest from international experts in the field, at an annual forum that sets the scene for business at AIME,” said convenor, Elizabeth Rich.
The AIME Business Events Forum – New World Order – will be held from 8am to 9.45am on Tuesday 6 June, at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, Australia.
On Wednesday 7 June, Day 2 of the AIME Business Events Forum – Best in the Business Showcase – will feature some of the best events staged over the last 12
months.
“Best in the Business Showcase is a unique opportunity to hear the behind-the-scenes stories from the organisers themselves. Hear their approaches to the challenges
presented and the lessons learned. Some of the best in the business will share a wealth of practical experiences,” Ms Rich said.
The AIME Business Events Forum is a major event at AIME 2006, 14th AsiaPacific Incentives & Meetings Expo, held on 6
and 7 June at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, Australia. The event includes more than 850 exhibitors from 50 countries.
