Thai Airways International
is to increase its fuel surcharge on the international flight sectors routed Bangkok – Singapore v.v. and Bangkok – Malaysia v.v. (Kuala Lumpur and Penang)
from 1 September 2006 onwards, due to the continually increasing fuel costs worldwide.
The
new rates as follows:
Bangkok – Singapore v.v.
US$ 20 or approximately 800 Baht per flight coupon (from previously US$ 15 or approximately 600 Baht per flight
coupon).
Bangkok – Malaysia v.v. (Kuala Lumpur and Penang) at
US$ 22 or approximately 880 Baht per flight coupon (from previously US$ 14 or
approximately 560 Baht per flight coupon).
