Silversea Cruises is set to offer a unique selection of custom-tailored, land-based events during Silver Shadow's World Cruise 2007. Guests sailing
the full 126-day cruise will be able to enjoy five complimentary shoreside events showcasing the unique cultures, art, history and culinary traditions of a
diversity of regions across the globe, hosted from select cities including Santiago, Auckland, Dubai, Safaga and Rome.
"A voyage around the world is the event of a lifetime, and it's only fitting that we should celebrate this special experience by hosting gala events for
our guests in several ports of call," said Joseph Proto, Silversea's director of World Cruise and business development. "Our destination and
enrichment experts have collaborated to design five spectacular programs that promise not only to entertain, but also deepen our guests'
understanding of the peoples and cultures they will visit during their global odyssey."

For
