COMO Hotels and Resorts
will be participating as an exhibitor in the Pacific Asia Travel Association or PATA Travel Mart
at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong for the first time next week. The event, which takes place from 12th to 16th September, is a high-profile
trade show connecting hotel and spa companies with airlines, tour operators and related businesses, as well as the regional media. With
4,005 square metres of net floor space occupied by PTM 2006 Sellers at Hong Kong’s newest exhibition venue, it is considered one of Asia
Pacific’s major travel contracting and networking shows.
COMO Hotels and Resorts, which is part of the COMO Group, currently owns and operates eight properties worldwide. These include city
hotels in London and Bangkok (the Metropolitan London, The Halkin and the Metropolitan Bangkok), private island retreats in the
Maldives (Cocoa Island) and the Turks and Caicos (Parrot Cay), and two inland Uma resorts in Bali and Bhutan (Uma Ubud and Uma
Paro). Acting in harmony with COMO Hotels and Resorts is COMO Shambhala, the holistic health company that takes care of guest
well-being. The flagship is COMO Shambhala Estate at Begawan Giri in Bali, a retreat for change where guests are healed and inspired by
the company’s powerful philosophy for responsible living. It represents a totally new concept in luxury wellness retreat.
As part of the global COMO Group, COMO Hotels and Resorts has worked closely with Club 21, the Singapore-based high-end fashion
retail and lifestyle company, also under the same ownership, to design a unique display booth for the PATA event. In keeping with the
simple, pared-back aesthetic that defines the COMO style, all walls and furniture will be off-white with a light brown carpeted floor.
Separating the wooden platform entrance is a see-through gauze partition carrying the COMO Hotels and Resorts sign. Meetings take
place in the relaxed sitting area, afforded privacy by the gauze.
COMO
Hotels and Resorts will be located at Booth B146.
