Continental Airlines
celebrated the fifth anniversary of its non-stop scheduled service between Hong Kong and New York Newark Liberty International
Airport Friday.
"This anniversary comes after one of our most successful years in the Hong Kong market and we remain firmly committed to this market," Mark Erwin,
President - Asia Pacific Division of Continental Airlines said. "The Hong Kong and China market is very important to Continental and our commitment to
international growth remains stronger than ever.
"Our Beijing to New York nonstop flight, which was launched in June last year, continues to perform well and we are looking at further expansion in the China
market," Mr Erwin added.
To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Hong Kong New York service, Continental Airlines is launching a special fare promotion.
Until May 15, 2006, passengers can travel to any US destination from Hong Kong and return
for just HK$5,900.
Beside, passengers of Continental Airlines can enjoy the OnePass bonus offer - Continental's special mileage program. Passengers flying BusinesFirst will earn
double miles when traveling from March 1 to July 15. Passengers with selected Economy fares can also earn 5,000 bonus miles during the period. An extra 5,000
bonus miles will also be offered to new members enrolling to OnePass.
