Marriott
is to open its 11th hotel in Beijing in 2008 under a management agreement reached with Beijing Huhua Real Estate Development
Co., Ltd. When opened, the 19-storey hotel will be called the Beijing Marriott Hotel City Wall and will have 615 guest rooms.
Located at the intersection of the Second-Ring Road (east) and the Beijing Railway Station East Road, the hotel will be part of a mixed-use
development on a 9,000-square meter site about 1.5 kilometers west of the Beijing central business district and two kilometers east of
Wangfujing, Beijing’s main shopping district. Nearby are Beijing’s renowned Ming Dynasty City Wall Ruins Park and the city’s Embassy
District in the Ritan Park area.

international lodging for Marriott International. “We are confident that the hotel’s outstanding location coupled with the excellent design
quality envisioned for the hotel will contribute greatly to its future
success.”
Guest rooms at the Beijing Marriott City Wall Hotel will be
among the largest in the city, all will feature bathrooms boasting separate
showers and tubs.
For dining and entertainment, the hotel will have a lobby lounge and bar as well as three restaurants including a casual, all-day restaurant
and two specialty restaurants.
Amenities will include an executive lounge offering a board
room, a health club and spa with eight treatment rooms, a gift shop, a
business center, and a concierge desk.
For conferences and social events, the Beijing Marriott Hotel City Wall will have 1,940 square meters of space including a 1,220-square
meter ballroom that will be divisible into five sections, s 145-square meter meeting room that will be divisible into two sections; and six
additional meeting rooms in varying configurations.
The Marriott International hotel portfolio in Beijing is currently represented by the 212-room Renaissance Beijing Hotel; the 293-room
Courtyard by Marriott Beijing; the 444-room New World Jing Guang Hotel; the 155-room Beijing Marriott West; the 224-unit Marriott
Executive Apartments Palm Spring Beijing, and the 256-room The Ritz-Carlton, Beijing Financial Street.
Under construction are the 258-room Courtyard by Marriott Beijing Northeast (opening late 2007) and the 591-room JW Marriott Hotel
Beijing, the 540-room Renaissance Beijing Capital Hotel and the 320-room The Ritz-Carlton Beijing, all of which open in 2008.
