Reed Travel Exhibitions
is once again hosting the ICCA Youth Forum at AIME 2007 in Melbourne, Australia. It will be the seventh staging of
the popular Forum that brings together young industry professionals from the Asia Pacific region to learn more about the global business
events industry.
“The Youth Forum is a unique opportunity for young people under the age of 30 years to hear leading speakers who will share their experiences
during exercises and discussions. The Forum also includes attendance at AIME 2007 trade exhibition and seminars,” said ICCA Youth Forum
Manager, Elizabeth Rich.
Participation is free to all ICCA members' staff under 30 years of age. Non-members are invited to apply for a nominal registration fee.
“I encourage our young industry professionals to apply for the Forum. They will have the opportunity to become more familiar with the global
meetings and convention industry, to enhance their professional skills, to learn more about ICCA and to network with others in the industry,”
she said.
“In 2007 we would particularly like to see more Asian employers use the ICCA Youth Forum as an incentive for their young employees,” Ms Rich
said.
A full programme and registration details
is expected to be released soon.
