IHG to open New Holiday Inn Hotel in Abu Dhabi

InterContinental Hotels Group is expanding its portfolio of properties in the UAE with the development of an Holiday Inn Hotel in Abu Dhabi.

The Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi will be located at one of the regions upcoming communities, Danet Abu Dhabi. It will be operated by Hospitality Management Services and will complement the groups existing brands within the Emirate, including the InterContinental Abu Dhabi, Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi and InterContinental Resort Al Ain.

Scheduled to open at the end of 2007, the 8-floor Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi will have over 200 standard and executive rooms and private suites, including a roof top level with state of the art leisure facilities. Retail outlets, a coffee shop and specialty restaurant are also planned for the ground floor, with an all-day restaurant and business centre to be located on the Mezzanine floor.

The hotel will be situated 15 minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport near the Diplomatic quarter and will be close to major shopping malls to offer guests choices from some of the worlds leading international retail brands.

The property will include conference facilities providing hi-tech, audio, video and telecommunications equipment. These facilities combined with the brands globally recognized reputation for professional and friendly staff promises an unparalleled stay in the region.
