Howard Johnson Pearl Plaza Wuhan becomes 11th Hotel in Group's Portfolio in China

Howard Johnson International (China) recently opened the five-star Howard Johnson Pearl Plaza Wuhan, the 11th hotel in the group's portfolio in China.

The 43-Storey deluxe Howard Johnson Pearl Plaza Wuhan is conveniently located in the heart of city's commercial and entertainment district Hankou. The hotel is just a few minutes walk to the government offices and just across from the famous Yangtze River.

Most of the 393 rooms and suites offer panoramic views of the river. This international hotel is just 15 minutes' drive to Wuhan International Exhibition Center, 20 minutes to the Railway station and 40 minutes to the Wuhan Tianhe International Airport.

The hotel has 11 distinctive multi-purpose meeting rooms located on two floors each equipped with the latest state-of-the art audio-visual equipment. Two ballrooms each are located on the fifth and sixth floors featureing floor to ceiling windows with magnificent views of the majestic Yangtze river and can accommodate up to 900 guests for all types of receptions.

Seven restaurants and bars are available at the hotel. L'Indochine Restaurant offers French Vietnamese cuisine and one of the finest wine lists in the town; Carrianna Chinese Restaurant from Hong Kong is renowned for its classic and varied Cantonese fare including Abalone, Shark's Fins and Bird's Nest while the Vienna Cafe which is located in the lobby features authentic Viennese dishes; the Pierrot Bar is a wine bar serving a large selection of cocktails, wine, beer and snacks.

The Pattaya Sky Lounge on the 39th floor is an ideal place to unwind or listen to music after a hectic day; the Royal Orchid Thai Revolving Restaurants at the 40th and 41st floors serve Thai and Seafood and Barbecue Buffets prepared by a team of experienced Thai Chefs; while the Lobby Lounge serves afternoon tea, evening cocktails and snacks.

Following the opening of the Wuhan property, Howard Johnson International (China) have Howard Johnson Plaza Lingang, Shanghai and Howard Johnson Plaza Ningbo opening in August, Howard Johnson Hotel Songjiang, Shanghai opening in late September this year.
