With an elegant touch of Mediterranean architecture, ‘market style’ atmosphere dining, and the private luxury of 219 beachfront rooms, Hilton
International’s vision for a truly world-class resort nestled in the heart of the South Pacific has arrived with the unveiling
of the first phase of the Fiji Beach Resort & Spa, to be managed by Hilton on Denarau Island, Fiji.
Tucked away on the Denarau peninsula on the Western side of Fiji’s main island, Viti Levu, the Fiji Beach Resort & Spa managed by Hilton opened
on Saturday on a previously undeveloped stretch of land. The new resort is home to
a 1.5 kilometres stretch of uninterrupted beachfront and ocean views.
Oded Lifschitz, Vice President Hilton Australasia, said of the new resort, “Effortless luxury is what we are all about. We have set out to deliver a
product that offers a new level of guest experience for Fiji that is exclusively personal and will be popular with honeymooners, ‘baby
mooners’, golfers, water sports fanatics and travelling families alike.
“Our rooms are luxurious in size, stretching from 40 up to 190 square meters, and feature sleek European designed kitchens and outdoor living
spaces with barbeque facilities to give an indulgent home away from home feeling. A chef is available 24-7 to your room, so you never have to leave
the resort - all you need to bring with you is your imagination,” added Mr.
Lifschitz.
The resort’s signature restaurant, nuku, (Fijian for sand) is overseen by Canadian Executive Chef, Pierre Mourez who has created an exquisite
menu and wine cellar based on ‘semi-set’ buffet style dining. Pierre said of his new restaurant, “Like an artist’s studio, nuku will be a dining room
where menus change daily based on only the freshest produce and ingredients. I take inspiration from my guests so plates will be personalised to
suit all tastes.”
Offset against a stylish interior of dark timber accents, shimmering gunmetal tiles and silver metal spherical lights, nuku’s two dining pavilions are
framed by dramatic sweeping curtains, chill-out daybeds, lounge seating and traditional dining settings. Couples and honeymooners can also
enjoy lantern-lit dinner parties in private dining pavilions on the beachfront.
Guests have full access to the spa and gymnasium as well as a host of other leisure activities including water sports and a world class golf course,
The Denarau Golf and Racquet Club, right next door.
