Teleportec, one of the world’s leading innovators of meetings and conference technology is to participate in the MPI Technology Village @ EIBTM
2006 – a global showcase dedicated to the latest cutting-edge and most inspiring technology products.
Teleportec systems provide the ability for a speaker from a distant location to appear before an audience life-size, life-like, real-time, in apparent 3D.
In a very short time, the technology appears to fade into the background, and the distant person communicates with the audience as if they were
physically present.
“Teleportec's objective at EIBTM is to demonstrate that Teleportec systems provide a cost-effective, time saving and emotionally-effective
alternative to physically being there. We have found that you have to experience it before you really understand it, and EIBTM is the perfect platform
to do this. Teleportec in-person technology makes it possible for you to be in two places at once, wherever you are in the world,”
said James Young, Chairman of Teleportec.
Teleportec joins over 20 companies at the technology village, many of whom are returning following the success of their participation at EIBTM
2005.
EIBTM’s technology focus continues with the annual WorldWide Technology Watch Awards where the deadline for new product and technology
innovations entries is 4th August 2006. Whilst this year’s Technology Debate will highlight future technology and the impact on the meetings
industry, debating products like Teleportec, and will take place on Wednesday 29th November.
“We are delighted that Teleportec is joining the MPI Technology Village @ EIBTM and as one of the world’s leading players for the industry, it is a
real opportunity for our visitors and Hosted Buyers to see the very latest innovations. Their participation and the fact that we have already sold all
the space in this area for 2006 makes the MPI Technology Village @ EIBTM a must attend feature of the show,”
said Mandy Torrens, EIBTM Event Manager.
EIBTM 2006 will take place from 28-30th November 2006, at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona.
