From March 1, 2006, an online check-in service
will be available for Continental Airlines' passengers departing from Hong Kong and Beijing
international airports. This convenient and easy-to-use, online check-in service allows passengers to arrive at the airport with their boarding passes
and confirmed seat assignments, get through security and to their gate quicker than ever before. In addition, Continental is offering a 1,000 bonus
miles (500 miles each way) to passengers who use the online service anytime between March 1 and December 31, 2006.
Continental's Hong Kong and Beijing passengers who hold an e-ticket need to simply logon to
www.continental.com or www.continental.com/hk/hke and follow the instructions. Passengers can easily check-in
anytime between 60 minutes and 24 hours before the scheduled departure.
"This new service is well-suited to the busy schedule of the modern traveler allowing passengers to bypass the lines at the airport, pass through
security and get to the gate faster," said Mark A. Erwin, President, Asia Pacific for Continental Airlines.
"Customers departing from Hong Kong or
Beijing international airports need to simply logon, confirm or change their seat assignment and print the boarding pass out or get a faxed copy by
choosing "Request Fax" option during the check-in. It is fast, easy and hassle-free," Mr Erwin added.
Continental customers can approach the Continental designated check-in counter to check their baggage and obtain their original boarding pass
when departing from Hong Kong or obtain a stamp on their boarding pass when departing from Beijing.
