China Southern Airlines has made new additions to its extensive flight network, including a new daily service to Lhasa, Tibet. China Southern’s new daily flights from Guangzhou to Tibet (with a stopover in Shangri-La) will be through the current peak summer season.

The airline also recently launched an all-new Guangzhou-Manila service, adding another route to the Philippines from China’s mainland from the current Beijing to Manila route (via Xiamen). The new flight departs at 09:00 every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday from Guangzhou and arrives in Manila at 11:10; the return flight departs from Manila at 12:00 and arrives in Guangzhou at 14:20.

China Southern Airlines has also expanded its Guangzhou-Los Angeles service to daily 777 operations, as well as daily service between Amsterdam and Guangzhou slated to begin in mid-August.

China Southern Airlines Xinjiang Branch has inaugurated service between Urumqi and Astana, the capital city of Kazakhstan. This is the second route for China Southern from Urumqi to the Republic of Kazakhstan as the airline currently operates service between Urumqi and Almaty.
