InterContinental Hotels Group
has appointed Nina Bibby as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Brand Management and Stephen Powell as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales.
In these newly created senior positions both report directly to Peter Gowers, IHG’s Chief Marketing Officer.
Nina joins from Diageo PLC where she held a number of roles including Global Brand Director of the Reserve Brands Group and, most recently,
Commercial Strategy Director. Previously, Nina was Associate Director of the Henley Centre, following positions with Gemini Consulting and
Nomura Securities in London, New York and Tokyo.
Stephen
has been promoted from his current role with IHG of Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Europe Middle East and Africa region. Stephen
has been with IHG since December 2003, when he joined as Vice President of Sales, UK and Ireland. A hotel industry veteran, Stephen has held a
range of senior sales posts in the US and Europe with major hotel groups, including Sheraton, Loews and Fairmont.
