Hong Kong’s
new world-class tourist attraction Ngong Ping 360 has confirmed it will open to the public on 24 June 2006.
Mr. Henry Tang, GBS, JP, Financial Secretary of HKSAR Government will officiate the Grand Opening Ceremony on 23 June, the eve of the opening
day of Ngong Ping 360.

public display and countdown clock was launched Thursday at MTR Central Station which shows the official countdown to the eagerly-awaited
debut of Ngong Ping 360 to the public.
"Ngong Ping 360, officially opening on 24 June, is destined to become an iconic new attraction for Hong Kong,” said Ngong Ping 360 Managing
Director, Bill Calderwood.
Ngong Ping 360 is a dynamic new tourism experience which combines a stunning 5.7 km cable car journey with an impressive cultural themed
Village and easy access to the Tian Tan Buddha Statue, the world’s largest, seated, outdoor, bronze Buddha statue.
Ngong Ping 360 is destined to become one of Hong Kong’s ‘must do’ attractions, providing a fully integrated and memorable visitor experience.
