Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE) has
released the seminar programme for AIME 2007 which will be held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, 13 – 14 February. The
programme includes the popular Business Events Forums and the AIME Business Events Success Series of seminars.
“Our programme for AIME 2007 features international and local speakers, practical sessions that provide true learning activities and more
interactive panel sessions. We have structured the programme to provide the best education available covering incentives – both travel
and non travel programmes - special events, case studies, destination and venue selection and negotiation,” said Rosemarie Sama, AIME
Event Director.
The AIME Business Events Forums will be held from 8am – 9.45am on both mornings of AIME prior to the exhibition opening. The first
day’s Forum will feature a panel of international industry professionals who will examine major issues impacting the global and local
industry. Panel participants include Patricia Durocher, Managing Director, HelmsBriscoe International; Martin Sirk, CEO, ICCA; and
Sandra Chipchase, CEO, Melbourne Convention + Visitors Bureau. The second day will include four case studies of major events from
around the globe, presented by the organisers themselves.
The AIME Business Events Success Series comprises six seminars, three on each day of AIME 2007 and is expected to appeal particularly
