Tiger
Airways has appointed experienced marketer Rosalynn Tay to the newly created position of chief marketing officer effective from mid
February 2006.
Tay, whose last position was deputy-managing director of Leo Burnett Singapore, will report directly to Tiger Airways CEO Tony Davis. She will be responsible for
strengthening the Tiger Airways brand within the Asia Pacific region and promoting the airline’s fast expanding route network.
“Tay’s strong background in marketing and advertising will be a critical resource in supporting Tiger Airways aggressive growth plans for 2006. We look forward to her
providing the necessary marketing expertise and strategies that will enable Tiger Airways to stand out in this highly competitive environment,” said Davis.
Prior to joining Leo Burnett, Tay was marketing director for KFC in Asia and the United Kingdom where she acquired her regional and international marketing
experience.
