Despite being more than five months away, Boat Asia 2007 has already garnered much stronger exhibitor support with almost 40% more
early-bird bookings to date; and many coming in on a much bigger and better scale in comparison to the same period last year.
Suntec Integrated Media, organiser of Boat Asia 2007, slated for 19 to 22 April 2007, is also looking forward to an expected increase in
visitors to this established annual marquee international boating event helmed on an Asian platform. Now in its 15th year, this prestigious
event is highly regarded by international boating companies as a vital opportunity to effectively showcase to discerning buyers in the
region right at their doorstep.
Some of the leading brands making a comeback as featured exhibitors, and who have already committed to bringing in even more boats
for Boat Asia 2007, include Ferretti Group, Sunseeker and The Riviera Group. In addition, leading yacht brokers and dealers in Asia who
will also be present are Derani Yachts, Kingfisher Marine, Lee Marine, Luxury Yachts Pte Ltd, Simpson Marine and Starship Yachts.
This year, Boat Asia 2007 is thrilled to witness returning exhibitors from the yacht brokers and distributors industry such as Lee Marine,
and other esteemed firms like Simpson Marine who will be unveiling new models by Azimut Yachts amongst others.
Simpson Marine is
one of Asia’s leading boat dealers and yacht brokers established since 1984 and the authorised distributor for Azimut Yachts,
Bénéteau Yachts, Lagoon Yachts and Sea Ray Yachts. Group General Manager of Simpson Marine Group, Bill Hutchison
said, “Boat Asia
is the major boat show in South East Asia. Being well-organised and promoted, and located in the ideal setting of One*15 Marina on
Sentosa, it attracts quality exhibitors and visitors from Singapore and its neighbouring countries.
At Boat Asia 2007 Simpson Marine will display what
we believe will be the star of the show - the Azimut 116 - which has not been seen in
Asia before. After the show this stunning motor yacht will be based in One*15 Marina and will be available for corporate and private
charter. We will also show the sleek new Bénéteau Oceanis 50, the popular Lagoon 440 sailing catamaran and some of the latest hot Sea
Ray models.”
Boat Asia 2007 exhibitor, The Ferretti Group, is one of the leading companies in the world of design and construction of luxury motor
yachts and sporting boats. Said Daniell Chen, Chief Representative of The Ferretti Group Asia Pacific Regional Office, “By attending Boat
Asia 2007, The Ferretti Group hopes to support our regional dealers, enhance our brand image, and cooperate with SIM together with
other peers in the industry to encourage yachting lifestyle in the region.”
Another returning exhibitor looking forward to Boat Asia 2007 is The Riviera Group. Chief Executive Officer, Wes Moxey
said, “Boat Asia
is an important part of Riviera’s marketing program in the region and the company will again have an on-water display supporting its
expanding dealer network in the region.”
For the first time, Boat Asia 2007 will also host the inaugural Waterfront Luxury Lifestyle Pavilion that will showcase the finest pleasures
on land and at sea. This includes waterfront developments, spa resorts, luxury products, fine dining and entertainment to cater to a
growing elite group of high net worth clients who value waterfront living and related lifestyle services.
