EuroCommerce, a global payment services company,
has deployed its 3D Secure Merchant Plug in Solution with Tiger Airways.
3D Secure is the Internet equivalent of Chip and PIN. It requires a cardholder to authenticate themselves during the shopping process. This reduces
fraud and chargebacks for the merchant and they can therefore expect to get a lower Merchant Service Charge from their
acquirer.
Alan Wyley, CEO EuroCommerce said
"EuroCommerce proactively look for ways to help our clients improve business processes and margin per
transaction. By successfully deploying the EuroCommerce 3D Secure solution, Tiger Airways is now achieving significant
savings."
Tony Davis, CEO Tiger Airways, said
"The Internet is our most important sales channel and ensuring that our passengers are confident and secure
when shopping online is critical. Deploying the EuroCommerce 3D Secure Solution ensures that our passengers can be confident that they can
safely shop with us."
