The Cornell Hotel School’s Center for Hospitality Research has added two affiliates in its ongoing drive to build
one of the world’s preeminent hospitality research organizations. As Friends of the Center, Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals and Hospitality Confections LLC will contribute
to new research that aims to strengthen operating practices in the industry.
“We are very pleased to join forces with two organizations that help us broaden our reach across the scope of the industry,”
said Gary Thompson, executive director of the Center for Hospitality Research. “HFTP will help us gain new insight into the financial and technological challenges facing
the industry, while Hospitality Confections will help sharpen our focus on this important and fast-growing amenity sector.”
Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) is an international professional association dedicated to providing members with
professional development resources, continuing education and networking opportunities. With over 4,600 members worldwide, HFTP provides a

“HFTP recognizes the Center for Hospitality Research as one of the industry's major players in their field of expertise,”
said Frank Wolfe, HFTP’s Executive Vice President & CEO. “Both our organizations are recognized in their niches as being exceptional resources to their stakeholders. This
collaboration will make both of our organizations more valuable to the
industry.”
