Singapore-based
low cost airline, Tiger Airways is changing its (Northern) Summer flight
schedule to offer more flights to the Chinese cities of Haikou and Guangzhou as well as Phuket in Thailand.
The changes to the Summer flight schedule
which will be effective from 1 July 2006 to 28 October 2006:
•
another three flights per week between Singapore and Haikou (increasing the frequency to seven flights from four previously);
• another two flights per week between Singapore and Guangzhou (increasing the frequency from three flights to five flights);
• another two flights per week between Singapore and Phuket (increasing the frequency from seven flights to nine flights).
“We are happy with the overwhelming response to our (Northern) Summer Flight Schedules. To better cater to the needs of our savvy customers,
we have decided to implement these changes to satisfy the growing demand for our China routes and weekend flights to Phuket,” said Tiger
Airways CEO, Tony Davis.
Tiger Airways
currently serves 16 cities in seven countries: Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, China,
the Philippines, Australia and Indonesia.
