Antony Page has been appointed General Manager of the Melbourne Marriott Hotel, returning to his home city after 25 years working overseas
and interstate in the hospitality industry.
He has transferred from Sydney, where his most recent role was Director of Operations at the Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel.
Antony entered the hospitality industry as an apprentice chef at the Café Florentino immediately after graduating from St Kevin’s College.
In 1979, he left Australia to work in the hospitality industry in the UK and Europe, before returning to Australia in 1984 to work in a variety of
senior roles with Spotless Catering and Starwood Hotels.
Antony returned overseas as Hotel Manager at the Westin Philippines Plaza in Manila before returning to Sydney in 2003 to the Sheraton on the
Park, W Hotel and Marriott.
Antony’s predecessor, James Ferguson – another 25-year veteran of the hospitality industry - has transferred to Queensland where he is now
General Manager of the Brisbane Marriott Hotel.
