Luxury guest rooms now include 15 new suites, of which nine are executive and two are Presidential, as well as three Club InterContinental floors and a fully-serviced 24-hour Club Lounge.

The InterContinental Almaty also boasts some of the most extensive meeting and hospitality facilities in the city, with a 400 capacity grand ball room and two large meeting rooms catering for up to 120 delegates.

A wealth of new dining experiences can be found throughout the hotel including the rooftop Belvedere Grill Room, the Bosphorus Turkish restaurant, the Asian Caf providing all day dining, Bon Bon Patisserie, and a Members Bar. To help guests unwind, the Ankara Spa offers an indoor pool, Turkish bath and saunas, as well as a fully equipped gym.

Kazakhstan, at the crossroads of Europe and Asia and bordering both Russia and China, has undergone rapid development during the past few years thanks to its rich oil, gas and mineral reserves. As a result Almaty, the economic heart of the country, attracts business from all over the world, increasing demand for internationally branded hotels such as the newly opened InterContinental Almaty.

Situated in a prime location, opposite the presidential palace, close to the Republic Square and business districts, the impressive glass fronted InterContinental Almaty offers fine views to the foothills of the Tien Shan Mountains.
