Following the successful agreement between JetBlue and Galileo to bring the low-fare airline’s full range of fares and inventory to travel
agencies in North America, the two companies have now extended this partnership to include all markets worldwide. With immediate effect all
50,000 Galileo-connected travel agencies across the globe will gain access to all JetBlue published fares and inventory.
“Galileo has a tremendous global footprint and we are delighted to have been able to gain access to travelers across the
globe” said Noreen Courtney-Wilds, director, sales, JetBlue Airways.
“This new agreement allows us to add good incremental business and reach people who
otherwise would not have an opportunity to book JetBlue, particularly in markets with low internet
penetration.”
“We have clearly stated our desire to bring the widest breadth of travel content to our travel agency customers and by extending this agreement
with JetBlue, we have added yet further reasons for using the Galileo GDS,” said Brad Holman, MD Airline Services, for Galileo, Asia Pacific. “We
remain committed to working with our airline partners to secure their content while at the same time enabling them to reach their distribution
and revenue objectives.”
