The
Indigo Pearl, one of Phuket's newest luxury resorts, has appointed Mr Anthony Ross as general manager, overseeing the
property's opening and operations.
Mr Ross has already held senior management positions for the launch of three hotels - Azur Lodge, New Zealand,
Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel,
Malaysia and Pan Pacific Hotel Gold Coast, Australia during his distinguished career.
Mr Ross has also held senior management positions with The Sentosa Resort and Spa (Singapore), Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group (Monaco)
and All Seasons in Australia.
An Australian national and holder of a Bachelor of Business, majoring in catering and hotel management, Mr Ross joins Indigo Pearl with the
passion and experience to achieve the owners vision for this masterpiece resort.
The Indigo Pearl
which opens on 1 November 2006 is conveniently located just 10 minutes from Phuket International Airport.
The
resort will feature 277 rooms and suites while the eight food and beverage outlets will offer a wide range of tasty yet healthy modern
Asian and international cuisines.
Recreational facilities include three swimming pools, a cooking school, tennis courts, a
children's club, a fitness and meditation pavilion, a
diving school and a snooker hall with its own bar serving fine whiskies from around the world.
The Indigo Pearl also has a secluded and sheltered Andaman Sea beachfront with a private beach club.
Guests will also have access to high-speed wireless internet connections while meeting and incentive planners can put the spacious
