Vietnam-based international hotel management group, Celadon International Hotels, has signed an agreement to manage a new luxury hotel in Hue,
the ancient capital and UNESCO-listed World Heritage site.
The new 5-star Celadon Hotel Hue will be the first hotel under the new hotel group's management when it opens later this year.
With 271 luxurious suites and rooms, convention centre for up to 1,500 delegates, state-of-the-art spa, designer shopping arcade and "lifestyle
museum" explaining the city's rich history, it will set a "new hospitality benchmark" for both Hue and the management group’s premium brand, said
Celadon founder and CEO Paul Stoll.
Targeting business and up-market leisure travelers, the “Vietnam Club” Floors are designed and serviced up to a “6-star" standards with the
remainder at 5-star.
The hotel incorporates an exclusive members-only Vietnam Club, designed to reflect Vietnam's modern history from 1930 to the present day. The
Club features its own Vietnam/China fusion cuisine restaurant, and typical club facilities as a cigar bar, game room, and suite rooms for the clubs’
distinguished guests.
Its signature restaurant “The Brasserie” with an open 'show kitchen' and elegant terrace overlooking the pool and landscaped gardens
will serve contemporary international cuisine.
The hotel also features a piano lounge, Arcade Café , Lifestyle Shops, and “The Pink Giraffe” entertainment centre, with music room, karaoke,
gaming club and a sushi bar which is located in an adjacent building.
An interactive "experience museum" will tell the compelling history of Hue through state-of-the-art technology and special effects.
The Celadon Spa Club is designed for both guests and Hue residents, including an outdoor pool, spa, gym, squash courts, children’s' club and
sports department providing tuition in a range of activities including martial arts, tai-chi and wall-climbing.
The new hotel is designed by Environment Design of Malaysia with project management by Germany's HJW+Partners. International consultants,
contractors and suppliers will guarantee the quality standards of the hotel.
With an international airport and deep seawater port, Hue resembles a massive open-air museum on the banks of Central Vietnam’s Perfume River
with hundreds of temples, pagodas, palaces and tombs – including an ancient replica of the Forbidden City in Beijing.
Hue is also close to other UNESCO World Heritage-listed sites including the mystical Phong Nha Caves (90-minute drive); My Son, the spiritual
centre of the Champa civilization (2 hour drive); and Hoi An, the remarkably well preserved 17th century Silk Route seaport, just to the south of
Danang. (2 hour drive).
