Singapore-based
low cost airline, Tiger Airways has launched sales on its (Northern)
Winter Flight Schedules for flights from 29 October 2006 to 24 March 2007.
Fares start from
a low Sin$9.98 one way (excluding taxes) for flights to Thailand and Indonesia;
Sin$29.98 for one way flights to Vietnam and Philippines; and Sin$39.98 for one way flights to Australia and Macau SAR.
“We are offering the highest ever number of low fares seats under our latest (Northern) Winter Schedules that cover the peak year-end travel period.
Passengers can now book their seats for peak travel dates, like Christmas and Chinese New Year, at unbeatable low
fares,” said Tiger Airways CEO, Tony Davis.
Passengers are advised to book as early as possible to enjoy the lowest fare. This is because fares go up when the flight fills up according to
demand and supply. To increase their success rate, passengers are advised to travel mid-week if possible, as weekend flights on popular routes
tend to sell out very quickly. Passengers are also encouraged to book online to benefit from the internet discounts.
