China Southern
Airlines has recruited 30 women from the Republic of Korea as new Flight
Attendants.
This group of new Flight Attendants is the second-ever group hired
from outside China by the airline - the first group of eight Guangzhou-based Japanese Flight Attendants (hired in 2002) is currently serving on the airline’s Guangzhou - Tokyo and Guangzhou
- Osaka routes.
The 30 new Flight Attendants from the ROK
are currently receiving a two-month-long professional training regime at the airline’s Cabin Training Center in
Guangzhou.
Upon completion of their training courses in Guangzhou, the Korean women, ranging in age from 20 to 27 and all college educated, will work China Southern Airlines
flights from Seoul to three Chinese cities including Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong Province; Shenyang, capital of Liaoning Province and Dalian, a port city in
Liaoning.
China Southern Airlines also plans to use the newly-hired ROK Flight Attendants on regular or chartered flights from other cities of the ROK to additional Chinese cities
including Beijing, Guilin, Sanya, Zhangjiajie and Urumqi.
