The
soon-to-open Four Points by Sheraton Shanghai, Pudong has made the
following appoints to its pre-opening team:
Benjamin
Ye, Director of Rooms
- A native Shanghainese-born and educated hotelier, Benjamin was promoted to his present position from the Sheraton Ningbo Hotel,
where he held the Director of Rooms position in the Opening team. Before that, he was the Director of Rooms at the St. Regis Shanghai.
Benjamin has vast 5-star experience in all aspects of Rooms Division from previous positions at the Ritz Carlton, Portman Shangri La and Hua Ting Sheraton in
Shanghai and the Shangri-La Hotel in Shenzhen. Benjamin is married.
Francis
Xu, Director of Human Resources
- He joined the Four Points pre-opening team after holding the same position in the Sheraton Ningbo Hotel and before that in
the Sheraton Suzhou Hotel & Towers. Previously he also worked as Executive Assistant to the General Manager in
Suzhou.
Before joining the Sheraton Suzhou, Francis was the Administration Executive at the Suzhou Wugong Hotel Company and Production Coordinator at the Shenzhen
Jade Animation Production Company.
Francis is the holder of a Bachelor Degree in English Language
and Literature from prestigious Qindao University, and a MBA in Business Administration of the Webster
University Shanghai.
Samson Zhang, Director of Sales and Marketing
- He joined the Four Points pre-opening team after holding the same position in the Sheraton Ningbo Hotel and before
that in the Sheraton Suzhou Hotel & Towers. Previously he also worked as the Revenue Manager and Six Sigma Green Belt in
Suzhou.
Samson is the holder of a Bachelor Degree in Management from prestigious Fudan University in Shanghai.
With 320 Rooms and Suites and an
array of Food and Beverage outlets, the Four Points by Sheraton is presently
being converted from the Grand You You Hotel, one of the
first 4-star hotels in Pudong.
The hotel is part of the You You International Plaza Complex,
a new multi-purpose development in the heart of fast-growing Pudong, right next to the Nanpu Bridge
and close to the World Expo site.
The development comprises of the Sheraton Shanghai Pudong Hotel & Residences (opening February 2007), the 4-star Four Points by Sheraton (opening February
2006), an Office Tower block and an up-scale Designer-label Department Store.
