Hertz Australia launches 2006/7 Value Vouchers Programme

Hertz Australia has released its 2006-2007 Value Vouchers programme, offering leisure travellers in Australia a wide range of bonus deals on attractions and activities including theme parks, dining and sightseeing.

With every holiday rental, customers at selected Hertz locations receive, for free, a book of eight Value Vouchers offering discounts, two-for-one deals or other special offers, from rental car upgrades to cut-price camel rides.

“The Australian travel market is extremely competitive and, increasingly, decisions are based on who offers the best value for money,” said Wayne Burgoyne, Director of Sales and Marketing for Hertz Australia.

“We already offer very competitive rental rates and a large selection of high quality vehicles at more than 220 locations in Australia,” said Mr Burgoyne.

“Our Value Vouchers are a very popular extra feature of the Hertz leisure product in Australia, and our 2006-2007 programme again offers renters more opportunities to stretch their travel dollars and enjoy their holidays.”

Hertz Value Vouchers are offered to all leisure renters in eight mainland destinations – Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane/Gold Coast, Adelaide, Perth, Cairns/Far North Queensland, Darwin and Alice Springs.

Gold Coast: 
20% off full-day admission price, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary - $25 discount per person, Balloons Aloft hot air ballooning

Perth:
25% off Captain Cook Cruises - 15% off Rivergods paddling adventures

Darwin:
20% off TreeTops Restaurant - 20% off Kakadu Air Services sightseeing

Sydney:
15% off Sydney Tower visit and Oz Trek - 15% off Sydney Helitours

Adelaide:
20% off tours and tastings, Seppelt Winery 20% off accommodation, Grand Mercure Mt Lofty House

Melbourne:
10% off Gold Pass entry cost, Sovereign Hill gold rush theme park, Ballarat 10% off cost of fully inclusive dinner, Colonial Tramcar Restaurant

Cairns / Far North Queensland:
10% off Quicksilver Outer Barrier Reef or Low Isles cruise 10% off, Kuranda Scenic Railway

Alice Springs:
10% off Frontier Camel Tours - 10% off Red Centre Dreaming Dinner and Show

One book of Value Vouchers is provided per car for every Hertz leisure rental, and vouchers are valid for use until 30 March, 2007, unless specified otherwise.
