Domina Hotel Group
is to open its second hotel in Venice in March 2007, the Domina Ca’ Zusto
Hotel.
The new hotel is located strategically in Sestriere Santa Croce, one step from Canal Grande, the Rialto bridge and the antique fish market,
close to the train station and just a ten minutes’ walk to Piazza San Marco.
Domina Ca’ Zusto Hotel, which will feature elegant and intimate rooms and a luxury attic with genuine wooden trusses, is located in a
completely redecorated historical building from the XIV century. All architectural works and excavations have been carried out with the
precious collaboration of the IUAV Venice University and the Ministry for Culture, carefully respecting Venice’s architectural language as
well as making come to light planking layers and underground ducts from the 1300’s and various Byzantine ceramics which will soon be
exposed to the public.
“The opening of Domina Ca’ Zusto Hotel shows Domina Hotel Group’s loyalty to Venice and its different cultural shades”
said Jean Patrick Thiry, Managing Director. “With Domina Giudecca Hotel we have taken part to the rebirth of the hip Giudecca island, whereas with
Domina Ca’ Zusto we want our guests to fully live the classic Venetian experience with all the comforts of a brand new high quality
hotel.”
