Tiger Airways
today stated that it is surprised to read reports of comments attributed to the Philippine Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) that the airline was found to have violated several
operating conditions on its route between Manila (Clark) and Macau.
The airline
said that it has today (13 January 2006) asked its representatives in the Philippines to obtain details of
these alleged violations so that it can respond promptly to them.
The
airline is currently operating its Macau-to-Clark (Manila) route on a temporary permit that expires
on Friday 20 January 2006 but has re-submitted its application to have this replaced with a permanent operating permit. It expects to receive information on this
application early next week.
Tiger Airways'
flights between Singapore and Manila (Clark) are not affected by this situation and will continue to operate normally.
Customers
affected by this situation are being advised to contact the airline
directly.
