Virgin Atlantic
has appointed Gyro International, an integrated communications agency, as its “below the line” communications
agency.
Gyro’s main responsibilities will be customer acquisition and retention
encompassing campaign planning, strategy, implementation and management.
Gyro will be retained to work alongside a number of existing agency relationships including Rainer Kelly, Glue London and
Identex. The business, which is estimated to be worth £4 million, was awarded to Gyro
from a list of 12 agencies.
Breda Bubear, Head of Advertising & Communications,
at Virgin Atlantic said, “It was clear from the start of this process that Gyro understood
our business and challenges and knew how to help us. We are delighted that we will be working with them.”
