British Airways has appointed Joerg Tuensmeyer as General Manager for Greater China and the Philippines. Joerg will oversee all commercial
activities in the region and his transfer comes as a result of Fernando Suarez’s relocation to Europe.
Joerg joined the Hong Kong office with over 10 years experience with British Airways, most recently as General Manager for Germany for the
last 3 years. Prior to this, Joerg held the position of Leisure Sales Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. During his tenure with the
airline, Joerg has held management positions in the finance division and corporate sales.
