in China, The Regent Shanghai. As the world starts to turn its attention to Beijing in preparation for the 2008 Olympics, it seems natural for
us to focus on this city to further drive our vision of growth for the Regent luxury brand in China.
With interior design by world-renowned company Hirsch/Bedner Associates Pty Ltd, the contemporary yet classic The Regent Beijing
features guestrooms and suites that offer modern facilities including complimentary high speed internet access, large plasma
television screens and DVD players. A number of the guestrooms enjoy panoramic views of the spectacular Forbidden City.
Four outstanding restaurants provide a wide array of dining experiences including: The Bar and Grill, an intimate and sophisticated
restaurant featuring a grill menu and a wide range of quality French wines and champagne, premium spirits, ports and
liquors; Daccapo, a contemporary Italian restaurant perfect spot for lunch or dinner; Café 99, a more casual all-day dining restaurant,
offering a la carte and buffet selection of Western and Asian favourites; Li Jing Xuan offers Cantonese cuisine and features a main dining
area and ten private dining rooms; and The Crescent Lounge is the ideal setting for a casual soiree, high tea or evening cocktails.
For meetings and events, The Regent Beijing offers a range of function rooms from a large 625 square metre ballroom to seven alternate
rooms ideal for small to medium sized meetings or banquets. A unique state-of-the-art new generation lighting system provides
remote-controlled lighting allowing for the room to be set to a variety of moods.
