TAT's
Jazz Festival Royale launched its tour of Thailand on Saturday. The
music festival which features some of the top names in Jazz, opened on
Saturday at Sanam Suapa before a crowd of thousands.
After
two nights in Bangkok, the Festival, an homage to HM The King of
Thailand, moves to the Horseshoe Point Resort in Pattaya for two nights
- 11 and
12 December, then the CMU Art Museum in Chiang Mai for the evenings of
14 and 15 December before the finale at Karon Beach in Phuket on 16 and
17 December.
The
Festival promises all who attend, an evening of quality food, drink and
excellent music, with artistes such as Chris Botti, Ahmad Jamal, McCoy
Tyner Trio, The Dizzy Gillespie All-Star Big Band, Cherryl Hayes, Nancy
Wilson, Georgie Fame, Marta Topferova, Regina Carter Quartet and the
amazing entertainer and genius musician Kenny G.
