On
Tuesday, VIVA Macau, a new Macau-based low cost airline signed a partnership agreement with
Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Co (GAMECO) for Maintenance, Repair
and Overhaul (MRO) services.
Commenting on the partnership,
VIVA Macau Chief Executive Andrew Pyne said, “The selection of a maintenance engineering provider is a critical decision for any airline. We
chose GAMECO because they will be able to provide VIVA Macau and our passengers with a high standard of safety practices, quality services
and efficiency.”
Under the terms of the partnership, GAMECO will provide VIVA Macau with a Total Care Maintenance Fleet Technical Management program and
an Inventory Technical Management program to provide spare parts for the VIVA Macau
Boeing 767 wide-body fleet.
