Travel News Asia Wednesday, 10 May 2006

Gulf Air has come up with a range of holiday packages for travellers at the Bahrain International Travel Expo (BITE), which opened Tuesday. In addition, a 10% discount is being offered by Gulf Air Holidays until 18 May 2006 for those wishing to book their holiday packages.

The Bahrain International Travel Expo is being held on 9, 10 and 11 May 2006.

Following the hugely successful expo last year, BITE 2006 is all set to attract more than 12,000 visitors from Saudi Arabia and neighbouring countries in addition to the local population. As many as 42 travel and tourism companies from 15 countries will be participating in the expo.

"Gulf Air Holidays, our dedicated holiday packages division, has produced a new set of 'Experience' programmes for this summer – the Arabian Experience, Asia Pacific Experience and the European Experience packages- offering new incentives such as pre-bookable excursions, new destinations and classic combination packages" said Ali Murtada, Vice President Business Units.

All Gulf Air Holidays packages include return Economy Class flights on Gulf Air, seven nights accommodation in star-graded hotels, breakfast each morning and return airport transfers by private vehicle.

For instance, passengers can enjoy an all-inclusive holiday in Bangkok for as little as BD247 or go to Paris for just BD447.

Special packages for additional nights are also available.
