Thai Airways International
is to launch a pilot recruitment drive between 1 March 10 May 2006.
Flg. Off. Apinan Sumanseni, THAIs Executive Vice President for Operations Department, said that since the company has substantially increased flights on various
sectors the company, therefore, is recruiting more pilots to work for THAI, with recruitment
under 2 categories: general applicants and applicants with pilots license.
General
Applicants
Qualifications:
- Thai male national not over 28 years of age (birthdate as of 1 October 1978 onwards)
- Graduate with at least a Bachelors Degree, any major
- Speak and write English fluently
- Completed military service
- Healthy and good eyesight
- Height not less than 165 centimeters
Required Documents:
- National identity card
Applicants with Pilots
License
Qualifications:
- Thai male national not over 42 years of age (birthdate as of 1 October 1964 onwards)
- Graduate with at least a Bachelors Degree, any major
- Speak and write English fluently
- Completed military service
- Completed commercial pilots training (from an institute recognized by the company)
- Certified with a commercial pilots license
- Currently flying fixed-wing aircraft
Required Documents:
- 2 photos at 1 inch (photo taken within 3 months before application date)
- National identity card or government employees card
- House registration certificate
- Certification of military service completion (Sor Dor 8 or Sor Dor 43)
- Original copy of degree and academic records, and Bachelors Degree transcript
- Commercial pilots license certificate
- Pilots log book of hours flown
In order to facilitate ease in application, the company has made applications possible on the Internet for the first year, with the initial qualifications. During 1-31 March
2006, applications may be made on the Internet. In addition, during 18-25 April 2006 and 2-10 May 2006 (except for national holidays), applications may be made in
person from 08:30-12:00 hours and 13:30-16:30 hours at Building 6, 2nd Floor, at THAIs Head Office on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road. For more information, those interested
