Finnair is
to open a new route to the Ukrainian capital of Kiev from 30 March. The new route will be operated on Thursdays and supports the existing code-share links
with Ukraine International Airlines flown between Helsinki and Kiev on Mondays and Fridays.
The new Finnair frequency offers more connections from New York to Kiev and from Kiev to all Finnairs destinations in Japan and China. Both Ukraine International
flights also have good connections to Finnairs route to New York,
explained Finnair VP Network Strategies and Management Petteri Kostermaa.
The Kiev route is operated with Finnairs new 76-seat
Embraer 170 jet aircraft.
