WORLDHOTELS
has formed an alliance with corporate travel and expense management
specialists, FCm Travel Solutions.
The partnership dramatically extends the marketing potential of the nearly 500 members of newly re-branded WORLDHOTELS by distributing them to FCm Travel
Solutions’ 100,000+ strong global corporate client base.
As part of its strategic approach to corporate travel management and cost compression, FCm Travel Solutions offers its clients “world-best fares and rates of the day”
through alliances with leading airline, hotel and car hire partners.
WORLDHOTELS is the first consortia representing independent hotels to sign a global preferred partnership with the corporate travel management network.
"We are proud to have been selected as the first non-hotel chain preferred suppliers to FCm Travel Solutions,” said Roland Jegge, Vice President Asia Pacific for
WORLDHOTELS.
“The alliance represents another significant step in our constant drive to increase demand for our member hotels.”
Rachel Grier, General Manager of FCm Travel Solutions’ Global Corporate Hotel Programme
said, “In addition to major, reputable chain hotels we are delighted to offer
our clients access to some of the world’s finest independent hotels. The alliance delivers a wider choice of accommodation and deals to corporate clients through
our network.”
FCm Travel Solutions is part of
one of Australasia’s largest travel groups, Flight Centre Limited.
“Our business creates measurable value for clients by offering the best blend of corporate travel services including a global network of local market expertise,
state-of-the-art technologies, a flexible business model tailoring services for each client, and the global negotiating muscle of Flight Centre Limited”, said Ms Grier.
“We are anticipating substantial growth of our network over the next three years, expanding in the key regions of Asia Pacific, Europe/Middle East/Africa, and
the Americas, by partnering with local travel leaders.”
WORLDHOTELS is also fast-expanding, notably in
Asia Pacific where its portfolio now numbers over 75 hotels and resorts.
WORLDHOTELS last year generated over 212,000 room nights and a revenue of US$35 million from Asia Pacific towards its almost 500 member hotels world-wide, an
increase of 24% over 2003.
