Howard Johnson appoints Howard Bennett as Director of Operation - China region

Howard T. Bennett has joined Howard Johnson Hotels & Resorts as their Director of Operation – China, based in Shanghai and responsible for all operational affairs in the region.

Mr. Bennett, originally from the UK, has over 30 years experience in the hospitality industry. Mr. Bennett has worked on four continents: Europe, Africa, Asia including the Middle East and USA with a number of major hotel chains including Hilton International, Sun International and the InterContinental Hotel Group.

Mr. Bennett is no stranger to China, he worked in Beijing from 1989 through 1991, and again in Shanghai from 1997 through 1999 where he opened two hotels for the InterContinental Hotel Group.
