Continental Airlines
has launched a low introductory fare from just $888 round trip for its new nonstop flights to Beijing, China from its New York hub at
Newark Liberty International Airport, scheduled to begin June 15, 2005.
This “Triple 8” introductory fare is also available from Dulles International and Reagan National airports in Washington, D.C., and from Boston’s Logan International
Airport.
Fares to Beijing from Continental’s Houston hub at Bush Intercontinental or its Cleveland hub at Cleveland Hopkins International are just $938 round trip.
Tickets must
be purchased by May 24, 2005, for travel commencing June 15 through July 10, 2005. Travel must originate in the United States and be completed by August 31, 2005.
International taxes and fees of $95, passenger facility charges of up to $18 and a Sept. 11 security fee of up to $10 will be added to the fare.
Tickets are nonrefundable, seats are limited and other restrictions may apply.
Continental's
Boeing 777 flight will depart Liberty at noon, arriving in Beijing at 1:50 p.m. the next day. The return flight will leave Beijing at 3:50 p.m., arriving in the United States 13 hours and 25 minutes later at 5:15 p.m.
